We are part of the Assemblies of God in South Africa.

Between 1968 and 1974, while pastoring Harfield Road AOG, John Bond planted 14 new churches across the Western and Southern Cape. The first was Fish Hoek AOG (now called Southside Church), followed a few years later by Meadowridge AOG, which eventually became The People's Church, Constantia.

Geoff and Wendy Bond entered AOG ministry in 1981, serving in various congregations throughout South Africa. In 2001, they were transferred to Constantia, where they have faithfully led The People's Church until 2025 then they handed over the leadership to Hans and Laura Antonio.
